Is why I’m here in Barcelona I want to show you what you can do if you’re visiting Barcelona for 48 hours so first stop on my list definitely to check out the Familia let’s go this is actually my second visit to Barcelona so I have actually visited most of these places

I’ve highlighted before however I wanted to show you what you can do and see if you’re visiting Barcelona for a day or two first on our list is the breathtaking cigara Familia and Tony gouty’s Masterpiece Marvel at the intricate details of this Basilica blending Gothic and art Novo Styles be

Sure to book your tickets well in advance or take part in a tour if you did want to go inside don’t forget to capture the mesmerizing play of light through the stained glass windows they anticipate the construction work on cata Familia to be finally completed in

2026 it was then time to grab a sweet snack for breakfast I love checking out Balo I have the Dolce dele Balo and these Donuts are in a really fun shape and they taste delicious Too Next we venture to ca batlo another gouty gem admire the Whimsical facade and explore the Fantastical Interiors where creativity knows no bounds a true Testament to gudy’s event guard Vision Wandering down L rum soak in the Lively atmosphere this bustling prominade is lined with shops cafes and street performers stroll along and you’ll feel the pulse of Barcelona’s vibrant street Life experience the colors and flavors of Barcelona at marcat De laa this bustling Market is is a feast for the censes offering fresh produce local Delicacies and a chance to immerse yourself in the city’s culinary Delights definitely try some of the local Delicacies here in fact on my last visit

I did a food tour which included a visit to some of the Stalls here there are also several other markets dotted throughout Barcelona however this one is by far the busiest be sure to check some of the other smaller markets out elsewhere as well E Explore the Charming plaa with its palm trees and vibrant atmosphere then make your way to pla desent J through the gothic quarter to the political heart of Barcelona surrounded by historical buildings that narrate the city’s political history very close by you can delve into Barcelona’s Roman past at Temple de AUST

Yes there are Roman ruins in Barcelona the temple was built in the first century ad and it was quite interesting to see in person as it’s not well known to most people who visit Barcelona Very close to the temple de AUST you can pass under the enchanting Bishop’s Bridge there is a bit of a legend with this bridge if you stand under it you will notice a skull and Dagger this bridge was designed by an apprentice of gudy his name was Jean Rubio abver it is

Said that whomever gazes upon on it will have bad luck however if you make a wish and walk backwards under the bridge you’ll reverse your fate there is another legend that says that if the dagger was ever removed from the skull Barcelona would be destroyed all legends aside it’s a pretty famous attraction

Barcelona and apparently one of the most Photographed Around the corner discover the Grandeur of the Cathedral of Barcelona this is a beautiful gothic church that took six centuries to build with the most recent facade remodeled in the 19th century in a Neo Gothic Design This cathedral was also built on an ancient Temple to the

God Jupiter you’ll also find many unique gargoyles outside including a Unicorn step back in time at pla Del re a medieval square that transports you to Barcelona’s medieval history some historians believe that in 1493 King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella welcome Christopher Columbus and his crew upon their return from the first successful Voyage to the new world on these very

Stairs then visit the Tranquil pla de s Philip Neri known for its hidden charm and sad history in 1938 during the Spanish Civil War two bombs exploded here unfortunately one in the church and one fell in the Square killing 42 people mostly children evidence of the bombings

Were left as a reminder of what took place here however now it is a serene place to Visit by this time you’ve definitely walked up an appetite I know I sure did so I indulged in the local flavors at bar Del pie this cozy spot is perfect for sampling authentic tapus while enjoying the laid-back Ambiance it’s a true Taste of Barcelona’s culinary Delights also be sure to have a

Refreshing sanria or try the local ver Smo as I mentioned earlier there are many local markets scattered throughout Barcelona also you’ll find a select few local shops that actually support local vendors and artists within the Barcelona area my journey concluded with a visit to the Whimsical parkw y’s Crea ity shines through in the vibrant mosaics

Playful sculptures and panoramic views of Barcelona it’s the perfect ending to my barcelon adventure again I really recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time online or organizing a private tour of parkwell as it is quite vast and an incredible place to visit hi everybody so it is the next morning and

I am here bright and early at Park so it is already starting to get busy believe it or not um so if you are planning to come to parkwell I Really highly suggest booking your 9:30 a.m. tickets we did get in line I want to say around 9:00
