Spain Travel, Exploring Madrid, Prado Museum, and San Miguel Market

This is a video from the second day in Madrid. Many famous paintings from art textbooks are on display, The Prado Museum is a spot I was looking forward to in Madrid. I wanted to enter here at a time when it was not crowded,

I made a reservation from 10am a few months ago, and there was quite a line! No photos are available as photography is prohibited inside the Prado Museum. I spent 2 hours and 30 minutes looking at art! Spanish paintings from the 11th to 18th centuries are on display.

You can see the real paintings that appeared in textbooks. If you are interested, please check out the exhibited works from the URL in the description. We took a retro photo shoot in the park. I wonder if it would be a commemorative item even if it is not a caricature? I thought…

Is it the same if I take a picture with my camera and then process it? That’s why I saw you off I will order a MENU here. There’s a strolling accordion player nearby. 1st is green onion soup MENU was EUR14 “Cold green onion soup?” “It’s not cold! There’s steam coming out!”

“Oh! That was a warm soup!” (lol) It’s green onion potage It was creamy and delicious Salmon pasta, beautifully presented! Yeah! delicious! The saltiness of the salmon is just right, and the taste of the mayonnaise sauce 2nd is cod escabeche (nanbanzuke style) Lightly salty marinated in olive oil

Easy to eat with a light taste The name of the dish was “vegetable and chicken wok”… In the Japanese sense, it’s “just yakisoba” (lol) After all, it’s nothing more than fried noodles! Is the flavor too strong? Dessert is hit or miss, so I opted for coffee.

There was a restroom inside the store, there were seats, and it was warm. The San Miguel market came into view. Hello, We are “Jaane” Today, September 22nd, we are filming in Madrid. It’s 7pm now, but it’s still light. Photographed in front of San Miguel Market The current temperature is 20 degrees

Crowded at famous tourist spots Let’s check out the shops in the market! Tapas shop at the entrance. 3 pieces for EUR10 (JPY 1,550) 1 piece EUR4 (JPY320) Frying pan dish EUR9 (JPY 1,400) Pintxos EUR7 (JPY 430) Olive pinchos EUR2.5 (JPY390) Large pinchos cost EUR5-7 (JPY770-1,080) Drink EUR7.5(JPY 1,160) mozzarella cheese shop

Cheese tapas 2 pieces EUR8 (JPY 1,240) Wine glass EUR4-5 (JPY620-780) Here doesn’t seem to be very popular. Is it because it doesn’t go well with alcohol? taco shop seafood shop EUR10-18(JPY1,550-2,790) If you come here, you can almost eat Spanish market food. Tapas and pintxos are typical Spanish bar dishes. Crab shop

Arranges neatly on paper tray BBQ restaurant, grilled food Tapas restaurant with simple ingredients EUR2 (JPY310) EUR 1.5 (JPY230) Iberico pork shop There’s a fair amount in there. fruit shop It is beautifully decorated Overall situation of the market beer store Glass EUR6-8 (JPY930-1,240)

There are no seats available, so I will move to another restaurant. Everyone, please take the food and price into account before you go. People who can’t sit inside are eating outside. Arrived at Plaza Mayor It was a public event plaza built in the 16th century. It has a rectangular shape of 120mx94m.

Surrounded by a three-story building with 237 balconies This square is not only a market Bullfights, soccer matches, and public executions were also held. It seems that a heretical sentence declaration ceremony (auto de fe) was also held.

The first floor seems to be used as a store and the upper floors as residences. I’m curious about the interior of the house, but I can’t see it. There is also a tapas restaurant in the square. Equestrian statue of Philip III in the center of the square

Is it because it was completed when he was king? ! It has become a symbol of Plaza Mayor. The entrance for the general public was on the left side from the front. I was able to find it while walking along Baylen Street.

It was 30 minutes before closing, but I was given the condition that I leave by that time. Although it was planned since the 16th century, it was only completed in 1993. It’s literally a new building! It feels like it was built using modern architectural techniques. It’s beautiful, but…

The mural is so beautiful that it might be a bit bland… The stained glass doesn’t feel old either. Visited by Pope John Paul II in June 1993 I didn’t have time to see the golden altar (tears) It’s closing time so I decided to leave.

When you look at the church from a distance, it feels dignified. I went to this restaurant to eat tapas. There were also photos and a price list at the entrance. It was quite crowded, but there were seats available! Paper tablecloth is the menu It’s easy to understand with pictures of the food.

Rosé wine White wine Stuffed peppers, tuna, boiled eggs Let’s eat! “Why do you always cover your mouth?” “Quickly tell me what you think!” “Tuna bread” (lol) Crab salad, tobikko, and caviar “Please tell me what you think!” “Isn’t that the crab salad mayonnaise bread!?” Served with cured meat, parmesan cheese and pistachios

“Don’t you have any impressions?” “It looks like raw ham.” “We have no sense of taste!” “This bread is sweet, soft, and delicious.” Shrimp and palm heart salad It’s shrimp egg bread! ? Can I eat this? There’s nothing on there that you can’t eat! “Yes. Just Egg bread!” “Egg sandwich with shrimp” (lol)

The kitchen is behind this shrimp, mushrooms, bacon “Please eat without dropping it.” “Tell me what you think!” “It has a complex taste and is delicious.” Spanish chorizo, chistola It has more fat than chorizo and is aged for a short period of time. The skin is crisp and the inside is juicy.

If you ate at the counter, you could choose by pointing. I felt like there was something missing from the paper menu. We are staying in a hostel on the 8th floor of this building. Hostel on the left, tapas restaurant on the right

There is a menu with pictures of the dishes so it is easy to order. It was about half the price of San Miguel market. Today I walked from early morning until late at night. Spain is lively until really late.

I can’t get up in the morning if I play with them until late (lol) Royal Palace (Palacio Real) Cornisa observation deck The promised coin laundry (lol) Temple of Debod

The 6th installment of my travel Vlog is “Travel to Spain.” No.8 is the second day in Madrid. The Prado Museum, where you can see original famous paintings, the San Miguel Market, which is now a super tourist destination, and the Plaza Mayor. I introduce recommended tapas bars on the first floor of the hostel building where we were staying.
