I've stayed at Puerto de Alcudia and Port de Pollenca on holiday (1995 then 2005). Both times hiring a car. Had a map of the island for finding my way around. Remembering seeing Playa de Formentor and Cap de Formentor on it. They felt remote and cut off. I nearly considered driving here but the journey seemed long in a car. Should of made the effort, looks so fantastic. Drove to Palma Nova, Cuevas de Drach and Santuari de Lluc with the car when in Mallorca. A picturesque beautiful island, no surprise its popular with holiday makers.
Is it possible to drive from the city center to the beach?
