Plaza de España and Zoco Market ⛲ 4K Virtual Walk Tour, Seville Spain

Beautiful warm Sunday to visit the Plaza de España. Constructed in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, this semi-circular plaza is a stunning example of Renaissance Revival and Moorish Revival styles.
As we reach the center of the plaza, we can take a moment to appreciate the fountain, where boats can be rented for a leisurely ride along the canal. The plaza is often bustling with activity, from locals enjoying a stroll to tourists capturing the beauty of the surroundings.
The central building curves around the plaza with a series of bridges spanning over a moat. The intricate ceramic tile work, depicting historical scenes and maps of Spanish provinces, adds vibrant colors to the structure. Each with a bench and ceramic mural showcasing their unique culture and heritage.
Leaving Plaza de España behind, we make our way to the Zoco Market, an enchanting labyrinth of stalls and shops offering a myriad of goods. Entering the market, we’re immediately greeted by a symphony of colors and aromas. Stalls overflow with vibrant textiles and handcrafted goods, creating a sensory feast for visitors. The Zoco Market is host once a month in the Maria Luisa park.
