El cant de la Sibilla, Midnight Mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma 2013
This beautiful song is a medieval Majorcan tradition. Lady Sibyl announces the birth of a child who has been born for the humankind’s salvation – Jesus Christ. On the 16th of November 2010 UNESCO admitted the song as the part of humankind’s heritage.
Unfortunately, my video is missing the beginning. Nevertheless, it is worth hearing it at least once 🙂 I really enjoyed the Midnight Mass at Palma de Mallorca, and recommend it to everybody!
