We had a pleasant walk around the village of Valldemossa, visited the Carthusian monastery, were treated to an almost private Chopin piano recital, the Chopin museum and finished off with lunch.

Wikipedia says:
Valldemossa is a village and municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is famous for one landmark: the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa, built at the beginning of the 14th century, when the mystic and philosopher Ramon Llull lived in this area of Majorca.

Since the 19th century Valldemossa has been promoted internationally as a place of outstanding beauty, largely as a result of the affection of distinguished traveller and cultural writer, the Austrian Archduke Ludwig Salvator.

Valldemossa is a very attractive tourist destination, as it shows early Spanish culture. There are many shops and restaurants to indulge in Spanish culture.

  1. Hi Iv been following your channel for a while now and love your updates and your videos, I’m 23 years old and due to travel to palma nolva on Sunday , I have just received a proof of recovery certificate from the NHS covid app as I had covid 6 weeks ago, I read that Spain allows a 180 day minimum requirement certificate of recovery as entry, is this correct for the Balearics because I’m really confused as weather to book a test or save money and use my NHS certificate proof of recovery , your help would be majorly appreciated, thank you and keep up the great content 😀
