10 Must-Visit Spots in Barcelona! From Sagrada Familia to Park Güell, explore the best of Barcelona!

welcome back to another video on the holay Hub I know I’ve been away for a while I was a bit sick for a few weeks but now we’re back and we’re going to do a new video all about Barcelona and the top 10 things that you have to visit that you just can’t leave without seeing so let’s kick this off with the first and foremost thing that you have to see which is lasa Familia which is that massive church that you may have heard of which still isn’t finished they say it’s going to be finished in the next year or two there is a date but I believe it when I see it so the first thing that you need to know about the cigar for media is that you need to book well in advance it sells out like you have no idea fortunately there is one trick that I can give you and that’s on Sundays it is free to enter but you have to be really really early probably before 9:00 I actually never managed to get in for free but I know it is a thing and also on certain holy days it is free as well but again you’ll have to be very early when you go to the SAG Familia I would really really advise you go up one of the towers as well it is well worth visiting the second thing that you have to visit is Park gell that is another gouty Masterpiece and it is absolutely stunning it’s a park made out of love sculptures kind of reminds me of Hansel and gratt in certain places but this is another thing that you need to book well in advance I would personally go for an early slot because you can stay as long as you want once you’re in so if you arrive at 12 you can stay till till closing the third thing that you have to visit in Barcelona it’s not so much a tourist attraction it’s an area of the city it’s the bar gotic or the goic area which is so so beautiful really really cool to explore and my best advice for you here is just to switch off your phone switch off Google Maps and just walk the streets just walk the windy streets take in the different architectural uh features such as there’s a cathedral in there that not many people would know about and maybe pop in and out of some of the shops they’re very very cool there’s a few art museums in there that I think that are worth visiting so definitely the gothic quarter is really worth visiting the fourth thing that you have to visit is the park de cotela and the arcta Triumph this is a really really nice place to to relax in the city there’s not a lot of green space in Barcelona so it is quite nice to take take in the green The Greenery I remember when I was there during my arasmus year this was a a very popular place foru students to go and hang out and have a beer and sit around and you can actually rent boats there and um go around on the little pond at certain times of the year when they have their festivals um this area gets very popular and there’s firework displays and concerts and stuff like that so that parella and Arctic Triumph is a very popular place to visit the fifth thing that you have to visit is the casab which is another gy Masterpiece you’re probably picking up on the trend here that gy kind of takes over but the cavio they they say he actually lived there I think it’s a really really beautiful piece of artwork it’s basically a house it’s just a house that’s really really beautiful and in summer I went to this last year in summer they do concerts up on the roof um which you have to book in advance but it is really worth doing if you get a good night a very clear night up on top of the roof you get to listen to some music number six that you have to visit is La peda which is the sister house to cabacho it’s another Masterpiece by gy if you have the time I really would do both again there is um light displays Up on the Roof that you can visit a little bit different to the Casto because it’s not really a concert it’s just light display with with music the seventh thing that you have to visit is M Castle you have to visit this place it is so beautiful and you can even get the cable car up from the beach if you want to get that kind of experience there is a bus also up there I personally would get the the cable car um because of the experience and during summertime they have outdoor Cinemas here I think it’s for July and August um maybe June as well I’m not sure um but they have outdoor Cinemas here which are really really cool and I saw a movie there with English uh subtitles so it was very cool number eight that you have to visit is LA rambla and Plaza Catalonia not the most appealing of places and La rambla is very dangerous for pickpocketing so you have to be really careful from Plaza Catalonia you can take a stroll up passage the Gracia and it’s really really beautiful lots of really good shops really worth visiting the ninth thing that you have to visit is MTI rabo which is very good for kids if you want to keep them occupied for a little bit there’s a little team Park up on the top it does take a bit of effort to get up there but the panoramic view of the city is really beautiful and the 10 thing that you have to visit is the beaches in Barcelona they are absolutely stunning sorry to break it to you but they are all fake they were put there for the 1992 Olympics there are some beaches that are nicer than others for example I would really avoid laara but I would go to beaches like maraba or novaria um just for a little calmer environment and a lot less people selling you things so I hope you’ve enjoyed these 10 things that you have to visit in Barcelona please keep tuned to this channel for lots more tips on travel and I look forward to seeing you next time bye-bye
