Cala s’Almunia is a very small town consisting of just 30-40 houses. It’s not far from the southern tip of Mallorca, and the closest major town is Santanyi 5 kilometers to the north

The beach in general
The beach in Cala s’Almunia shares its name with the town, but is also called Es Maquer. It is incredibly beautifully situated in a rocky bay surrounded by pine trees.

The small beach is just 10 meters long and 30 meters wide. There are a few rocky outcroppings on the beach itself, but there are also areas of sand/gravel. During certain periods, however, there is hardly any sand on the beach. The water is crystal clear and very inviting for swimming.

There are no toilets or other facilities near the beach. Parking is along the small streets, and from here a long, steep stairway leads down to the beach.

A path leads from the more popular beach of Calo des Moro to Cala s’Almunia. The path continues to the southern tip of Mallorca, Cap de Ses Salines. The entire trip is about 8 kilometers long and takes three hours on foot. A beautiful trip for those who are up to it.

The water at the beach is shallow, but there is rarely much room to play on the beach. Note also the long, steep stairway down to the beach.

Beach restaurants
There are no restaurants or bars near the beach. The closest restaurant is in Cala Llombards a few kilometers away.

Cala s’Almunia teilt seinen Namen mit einer sehr kleinen Stadt mit nur 30-40 Häusern, nicht weit von der Südspitze Mallorcas entfernt. Nur wenige Gehminuten von Caló des Moro entfernt, liegt dieser Strand sehr schön in einer felsigen Bucht, umgeben von Pinien.

Mit nur 10 Metern Länge und 30 Metern Breite ist der Strand selbst sehr klein. Um die Bucht herum gibt es viele Felsvorsprünge, die als Startrampe für Felssprünge in das kristallklare, türkisfarbene Wasser dieser hübschen Bucht dienen.

Una playa popular en el distrito de Santanyi cerca de Calo des Moro, esta playa (aunque pequeña) está rodeada por una cala grande y rocosa que pide a los aventureros que se sumerjan o salten de los afloramientos escarpados en sus hermosas aguas verde esmeralda.

Кала с’Альмуния разделяет свое название с очень маленьким городком, состоящим всего из 30-40 домов, недалеко от южной оконечности Майорки. Всего в нескольких минутах ходьбы от Кало-дес-Моро, этот пляж очень красиво расположен в скалистой бухте, окруженной соснами.

Сам пляж очень маленький, всего 10 метров в длину и 30 метров в ширину. Бухту окружает множество скалистых выходов, которые служат стартовой площадкой для прыжков со скал в кристально чистые бирюзовые воды этой красивой бухты.

Cala s’Almunia comparte su nombre con un pueblo muy pequeño que consta de solo 30-40 casas, no muy lejos del extremo sur de Mallorca. A poca distancia de Caló des Moro, esta playa está muy bien situada en una bahía rocosa rodeada de pinos.
