PASAIA and SAN SEBASTIÁN – Mount Ulia

so right now it is morning i’m in san sebastian um actually cool story so i am here staying at a hotel but all the hotels in santa barbara are closed right now because i’ve covered and my buddy shaw works this hotel he’s been here for the last couple years and so he’s actually been staying here uh while it’s been completely vacant and so he was able to get me this room and then another room that he says is my living room but it’s really just another bedroom and look at this view it’s so sick there’s the old town there’s a cursol and there’s the christ statue up on top of the hill [Music] yeah super awesome definitely feel stoked to know shaw feel blessed to just be here and yeah good stuff i’ll show you a little bit more of the hotel really quick we’re actually about to go for a hike um doing the gross passage hike it’s like a little hike over the mountain that we’re actually this hotel is right next to um yeah so here’s a little bit of the [Music] hotel [Music] so [Music] all right what time is it pablo 10 am starting from the nausea and where are we going jorge and what are we gonna do [Music] so the journey begins here first steps what were you saying before pablo we are already one meter above sea level one whole meter above sea level oh okay [Music] we should go that way what part of a hike is this is the very beginning yes this is the hardest this is the hardest part of the hike and papa what’d you say so yeah basically no no time to warm up just yeah trying to do it yeah but shah shah is going to run up yeah i cannot do this my lungs [Music] san sebastian we made a voice the hack is now over we’re done now we’re just gonna eat some pinches i’m going to put it behind my ear probably that water is better not to drink it looks tasty you can try it first and then uh and then i’ll try it [Music] i’m looking for fish jorge is gonna go catch us a fish yeah throw give us show us a dive [Music] [Music] look at this place [Music] how’s the hike thus far pablo i don’t understand at all [Music] it’s amazing it’s like first time in my life doing this one and it’s a typical one so i’m excited hey and then we’re gonna go we’re probably gonna go eat some chileta or something like that after yeah um [Music] fresh water has feeling fantastic nice pablo how many people have you said hi to today six people something like that this isn’t happening every sunday plus two other people yesterday he he’s the talk of the town i don’t know we’re about to walk across this thing kind of sketchy we could do it [Music] there’s the bridge yeah that we just walked across good times [Music] hello [Applause] [Music] is [Music] [Applause] is [Music] let’s move so we are about to take a little boat ride on this boat right here pablo’s gonna swim but i’m gonna take this boat and we are in pasaya we just finished our hike now we’re gonna go to the opposite side and we’re gonna get something to eat [Music] oh [Music] okay and now what are we doing right now boys yeah after the hike oh look you see at that this year man we are gonna take this now [Music] so now we’re here we’re getting some lunch these we’re all excited to get some cider yeah yeah and then he’s got a cerveza the food i will i’ll show the food you’ll see what follows it’s a lot of food yeah pretty bold okay so here’s her so this is actually some of my favorite cider here in the basque country it’s called vera tua and it is huey highly highly recommend boom boom boom what do we got here this is and then in english this is monk fish monkey’s ready munk fish yeah [Music] so we just finished a wonderful meal how was it absolutely good good awesome yeah good food it was it was what do we say in california fire yeah and now we’re going to take the little boat back we’re going to and um and then we’re going to do it and then we’re going to go ahead yeah yeah running up the mountain and finally exactly we’re doing a triathlon and that’s just height that’s what you do on a sunday in the basque country right [Music] fuego that food was fuego you know [Music] be [Music] my [Music] how was the hike on the way back it was incredible seven seven hours after the beginning and we’re we’re almost we’ll we’re here man yeah lovely day and i am hungry again me too we should go eat little pinchos or something yeah honestly i could eat some more monkfish but no good yeah discovering new places uh of the city incredible yeah good job and we’re looking at the jesus the holy jesus yeah exactly this is over on top of the city as it should be yeah so um which way did we come back today uh we went through um all the way from passages and to gross but instead of the moon we took the city exactly nice it’s super pretty highly recommended exactly take care [Music] what’s   1. Freaking awesome dude, when I finally am able to study abroad we definitely need to meet up and do something just as sick as this looks.
