good morning and welcome to around the world in 274 days and we are in Valencia Spain and we are at their Science Museum and if some of this looks familiar it’s because there’s been numerous movies filmed here including Andor from Star War um so if it looks familiar that’s why this is the opera house this is the part which is uh rented for the Bley School of Music then we have the IMAX cinema but it looks like an eye this one this is the white big one the Museum Science Museum then we have this bridge that indeed is called de the Lord but we love to change names in Valencia you will see I mean indeed we have a river without water and everybody call it the river okay but this is co but nobody call it that way we call it ELO the science museum area certainly is futuristic and uh there have been numerous films that have been filmed here tomorrow land gram Turismo Doctor Who Westworld and as I’ve mentioned before uh the second season of Star Wars Andor was filmed here as well and as you look at the uh the buildings and the architecture you can see why I mean it is so futuristic [Music] [Music] this is the city hall it’s uh it’s very ornate and and beautiful and this is the major Marketplace it’s all indoors and I don’t know what it is about the uh the markets the Central Markets of Europe but they’re fun to walk through the uh produce the fruits and vegetables are just unbelievable they’re large uh well shaped and just a great place to buy and then you go to uh the fresh meat P portion of the market and talk about a a wonderful selection just wonder why we can’t get this type of uh Market in the states I love to find the uh Street musicians and and have them uh listen to him [Music] play interesting that underneath this uh Cathedral got to go through under here is a uh is a Muslim Mosque and underneath that is Roman buildings um lot of change of ownership looking through this glass floor in the Square you can see the Roman bath uh that they’ve excavated out to probably about 8 10 ft below the surface [Music] this building caught my eye because it is the skinniest building I’ve ever seen you see where the arrow is pointing that is the building right there and there’s a spiral staircase going up the back side of it that’s the main City Gate of Valencia or valenia depending on where you’re from um used to be 12 of them there’s only two left little massive gate and here’s the outside of The City Gate that’s quite an obstacle if you’re trying to attack your way and fight your way into the city this is our Lunch uh the uh potatoes were toas we have squid and some potatoes um maybe some calamari but they didn’t bring any plates because he says he doesn’t have 100 plates so this be interesting so here’s this really cool [Music] squid two hands oh but the legs keep falling off a light 360 I’m sure it’s something that is standard and she put my name in it so she says Mom very rubbery always that way is this that’s Kari squid isari octopus I really don’t like that put that over there that was interesting but I don’t think I like it the Kari was good and that’s a rabbit tell me rabbit leg rabbit with chicken yeah but this is the [Music] rabbit this called paa I think it’s rice and there’s chicken in here there’s rabbit in here I think this is the rabbit one’s supposed to be Seafood but I haven’t seen any Seafood is it rice or is it it’s interesting I mean they’re famous the other interesting thing is they came around with a bucket of ice if you had water you could get ice if you have a soda you can’t get ice was somewhat fascinating to try and figure that one out so here’s the restaurant we had the lunch at and the beach which was obviously right on the beach was beautiful the water was warm and Laura can attest to that because here she is out in the middle of the water she went up to her knees and was about ready to throw everything off and dive in if you enjoyed our video on Valencia um please hit the like button and subscribe to our Channel around the world in 274 days thanks for watching
