  3. Hello Brian…what an excellent video and description of your camino. I am planning my first camino but want to cycle del norte. Do you have any tips for cyclists? Thank you for sharing your adventures!!

  4. Hi. I am currently watching this series on my smart TV. Thank you for posting all of this. I have walked the Frances from StJean and also the Fisterre and Ingles. I'm off to Irun in June. This documentary answered a lot of my questions about the route

  5. Brian, Your enthusiasm is clearly shown here, brilliant . You mentioned Fall in the video on D4 Lats. What time of year did you start the Norte? Answer 4/10/20. As a teacher I have a 60 day window in June + July. Prj

  6. Can you please add the accomodation fee, it would really help a lot as I’m trying to plan the trip I came to find this is the most expensive route. Cheers

  7. Thank you so much for your videos! I am looking to do the Camino Del Norte but only have about two weeks free. Do you have any recommendations on where I should start? I appreciate it!

  8. I know this was posted a few years ago but I just booked a flight to Madrid or rather changed from Sicily to Spain. I LOVED my time in Basque country and I love the sea. This is calling me. I'm just going to show up in Irun mid. Sept. with good shoes and a good attitude and walk until I'm done walking. Thank you for the inspiration and great videos.

  9. Thank you for great visuals and informative episodes for Camino del Norte episodes. My husband and I, (75 years young) are planning to visit first week in March…can you guide us on weather tips, I understand some parts of the caminos are not accessible during winter. Thank you so much!

  10. Yes, I am thinking of walking from Bilbao to San Sebastian instead of the other way. My daughter is in San Sebastian and I want to visit her but at the same time have the experience of walking part of the Camino de Santiago. I will be by myself. How difficult are the climbs? I am in pretty good shape but not young. Also, I have a fear of heights in which I can have the feeling of falling off. I don't care about heights when it feels more enclosed, trees, etc. How much of that will I experience? Or how long?

  11. Enjoyed your experience tremendously. Please telll me if the could be a pony or donkey available for my physically impaired partner. The left knee is fused – taxing challenging for continuous strenuous walking. He could sit , still enjoying this camino

  12. Thank you so much for video!! I'm planning del Norte for this summer (did Frances last summer). Are there places to fill water between towns like the Frances?

  13. Hallo Brian Thanks for the great video on the Norte. I plan to do it in 2024. I can learn a lot from you.
But a simple question: How do I pick up the Camino route in Irun? And for that matter in all other towns? The Camino route is not on Google Maps. Or am I missing something?
Where in Irun do I get the Pilgrim Passport? Have a super day.

  14. I did the Camino Frances 4 years ago and will be walking the del Norte in April 2024! A friend (whom I met on the Frances) lives in Brazil and she will be joining me!

  15. We are going to do the Camino del Norte in bikes and per foot. Thank you so much for the advice. For us more than 20 km a day sounds very demanding! 😊
