Tren de Sóller: Discover Mallorca with a Historic Train!
This is one of Europe’s most scenic train rides. The Tren de Sóller takes you from the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca to the town of Sóller. If you’re not already blown away by the train itself with its old-world charm, then the views of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains will certainly do the trick. It's been over 25 years since my last visit to Mallorca. I was like 21 years old. I will be certainly be doing this train in October 2024. Planning to stay at the La Residencia Belmond Hotel with my hubby for his 60th Birthday. Thanks for sharing

I… wasn't expecting it to be such a short trip xD seems like a nice daytrip though, and I'm looking at the site (train is down till February) and a round trip is quite cheap.

We went on this train and the tram last week! Stunning views – well worth doing!
the train was off when we visited. We took the tram down to the port a couple of times. Soller is a nice town to visit for a few days.

How do you purchase first class seats ? How long is the stop in soller centre ? Before going to the port ?
for the price you can rent a car for a week and see whatever you want

Oh my, 1974 when i was 8 my family took that train to soller? In those years Spain was a pretty poor country and wery cheap to wisit, its 50 year since! My father moved to Mallorca 1976-1980 from Sweden, and i spent every summer in Mallorca? Soo many memories🙏❤️🇸🇪
if you want to be on a crowded train to visit a crowded town and pay far too much money for a one hour ride… we locals don't even bother 😅
