The Family Explores Spain (La Tomatina, Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Bunol, Malaga, Barcelona)
Date of Trip: August 18, 2024 – August 31, 2024
I studied abroad in Granada Spain from January 2019 to May 2019. More than 5 years later, this trip has been a long time in the making. The parents and brother even joined in on this adventure.
Notable Things:
– Madrid: Museo del Prado, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, Plaza de las ventas, and a day trip to Segovia and Avila.
– Malaga: Visit Diego and see la feria de Malaga
– Granada: La Alhambra and many long walks through the Albaicin. Diego, Lola, and Sofia came to visit. We saw the finish of a round of La Vuelta bike race.
– Valencia: Visit the Museo de las fallas and la ciudad de las sciencias y arte
– Bunol: LA TOMATINA!!!!!
– Barcelona: La Sagrada Familia and a new guitar from my Flamenco teacher Ayman at his new store https://g.co/kgs/6tsME3a
