  1. Hey Mariko, which did you prefer, Akelarre or Arzak? Both pretty amazing, I'm sure, but the view from this place might swing it for me, if I could only visit one!

  2. I love fancy food, happy to sub and join you from a distance 🙂

I'm curious how you are finding European/Spanish restaurants against Japanese restaurants, where I haven't yet been but would love to. Also, for me at least, I'd be curious to know:

    1) The price, ideally broken down by tasting course, drinks and service.
    2) What wine(s) / drinks you are drinking with the food (although actually did just notice a nice shot of them toward the end!). Any reason for your pick? Any thoughts on the wine?
    3) Your general thoughts on particulars. What dish was the best. What dish the least good. Any dishes that nearly made it to greatness if only… So I can imagine in a bit more detail the food 🙂

My personal pick for the best restaurant would be La Pergola in Rome, incredible views likewise, if your journey ever takes you there.

I also really loved Moments in Barcelona, really impressive.
