  1. If you've been to San Sebastian or live there now, did we hit all your favorites? This is only my second place in Spain – how is it typically Spanish and how is it different? What did we miss and what do we need to see next time?

  2. "Garagar" means "Barley" in Basque.
    "Ardo" means "Wine" in Basque.
    So "Garagardo" means "Beer".
"Sagar" means "Apple" so "Sagardo" means "Cider" or "Apple cider".

  3. Please, don't use American Fanta to make Tinto de Verano.
Fanta Limón and Fanta Naranja in Europe contains real orange juice (iinstead of carcinogenic dyes Yellow6 and Red40) and taste like lemon and orange.
Better use Seven UP or another lemony soda.
And a lot of ice, of course…

  4. A tip for your next visit to Donosti:

The best pintxos (not tapas) aren't displayed and available at the counter of the bars.

The specialties of each bar (usually hot) are those that are announced on the blackboards behind the counter and are prepared at the time of ordering.
