On day 2 of our Dominican Republic vacation, we explore a villa at Casa De Campo that costs $10,000 PER NIGHT! It really was a beautiful villa rental with oceanfront views, an infinity-edge pool, a private dock, and more. We also got a wonderful tour of the Casa De Campo Grounds including the horse stables, polo fields, and Altos de Chavon, an Italian-style village full of shops, restaurants, and history that overlooks the Chavon River. We finished out our day with a trip to the beach, dinner at La Casita in the Marina, surrounded by beautiful yachts, and a Dominican surprise to wrap it all up!

Josh one suite where I work cost 24,000 to 34,,000 a night, a regular room can run around 5,000 a night can you said New York.

Avoid the swim up bar at any resort. That is where the worst water is, if you know what I mean!

How fun to see you enjoying your vacation in DR so much! That villa was cool, but the price is CRAY-ZEE expensive!
I researched Altos de Chevon as an excursion on one of our cruises, and in prime open tourist season it looks sorta fun…but being so empty when you were there was sort of freaky, like a ghost town! We did the Blue Hole in the DR instead, and really enjoyed our jumping into that awesome cenote!
I'm so glad I can catch up on some of your adventures! We've all had to be creative with our travel while we are waiting to cruise again. God bless 😊
