The Royal Palace in Madrid (Spanish: Palacio Real de Madrid) is the official home of the Spanish Royal Family, however, they don’t live there. They usually live in Palacio de la Zarzuela, a few miles NW of Madrid, or in Palacio de Marivent in Palma de Mallorca.
It’s a grand palace with 1,450,000 sq ft of space and there are 3,418 rooms. It is the largest functioning royal palace in Europe. It’s now used only for state ceremonies.

Royal Palace in Madrid is not the residence of Royal Family. 😉
