I love Whitney portal and the Alabama hills with the arches. And you can frame mt Whitney in the arch. At sunset, the Alabama hills are magical. The film museum in lone pine gives you even more info about the Alabama hills and is a fantastic museum. The historical museum in independence is very interesting too. And manzanar is something everyone should see at least once.
I'm so glad you like to go hiking! Love that you include it and drone footage. Such a beautiful place, maybe I can go there someday …but not today. ☺
Think I could spend a month on that road.
I recently discovered Traveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits,
I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
Hi Robert ! Very good documentary, breathtaking landscapes! Thank you so much! 👍
"Hit the road Jack". Like it. Thanks for going where we can't. You actually do what so many of us will never see with our own eyes. As many others have said so well – many thanks for doing what you do as no other and with great music.
Nice vídeos, I've been watching many during quarantine. Have you ever thought in a diesel pickup truck? Perhaps it must be good for towing.
Hello Robert I have enjoyed your videos since discovering LIMRV, THANK YOU!!! Could you please explain why one of your sponsors is a political ad I am forced to watch in order to view your videos.
The bird part just cracks me up. I had to re watch it a dozen times.
The Sierra Nevada's are stunning l can't believe how much snow is around in summer . Would love to visit more National parks in USA… The Mt Whitney camp grounds look amazing would be nice and cool in the heat. The Japanese camps were touching unfortunately war can bring the worst out of humanity. Hopefully nothing like this repeats. Makes you so grateful to never had to experience anything like this
We laughed so hard I think we cried… When the bird startled you. 😂 Then we became very somber at the end. I'm not familiar with Manzanar. Thank you so much for sharing. 😓
Wet trails can be slippery. I get apprehensive when it appears you're going on those trails alone. Even though I know you'll be OK.
Ads and commercials every damn minute or so! There isn’t anything I want to buy!
Right or wrong, they got shit done in the old days.
Absolutely love this video such breathtaking views when you run that drone:-)
Shortly after Minute 24:00, that had me rolling in my chair!!!
you did set me straight Mt. Whitney is taller than Mt. Rainier . Safe travels to you
Killer duck robert lol I laughed for 30 minutes hahahah
Great video….as usual, but what type of animal was it at 24.06 minutes ?????I replayed the scene a few times,in the first scences of that scenario,I thought, it was a bird, who couldn't take off for flight, immediately…but in the later scences of scenario, this creature seems to be more crawling,on multiple legs, similar to a spider, that would've been a very large spider, about the diameter size of a large dinner plate…and the way its legs moved,at the later moment of the scenario…I thought,it was a large spider
Riding the RV that is what set you free.
Can't wait to see you on top of Whitney! Manzanar is amazing and the movie they show…it made me cry. Did you see little pet cemetery on the side of the human cemetery?
What was messed up was our good soldiers killed , If it happened again it needs to go the same way.
I hope you really go get the chance to climb Mt. Whitney in the near future. As a recommendation a YouTuber named Kraig Adams has a channel where he recently hiked up to the peak last month. He has some great tips and insights into the hike. Highly recommend it.
“Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety “ So true for today’s pandemic. What people have given up is crazy. 😞
Whitney Portal is beautiful. As a kid we would camp there every summer. I think that was my first camping trip at 6 months old. My parents have a photo of me sticking me head out of the tent and eating dirt lol. Good memories.
Hey Robert thanks for another great video.also u have put the best background music.sometimes the music can be annoying but yours is very distracting music.good job u do.thanks for the holiday across USA,Melissa from Australia 🇦🇺
I’m grateful for all the beautiful things and places you show us .
You could never be a chicken:)
How can you boondock in the Alabama Hills for free? I have read so many comments by people who said that, but when I went there I only saw signs specifically prohibiting that.
You still have plans of going back and taking the 2 day hike to Mt Whitney? You said within 1-2 years back then lol. Anyway, it's crazy that they don't put guardrails on so many dangerous roads here. How much would it really cost them to put those up in some sections.
As terrible as the camp was, it was an Internment Camp, not a concentration camp
Those mountains were totally AMAZING. You did such a great job at showing them off. ❤
Scared me too, I jumped.
