This video starts just after crossing Nevada Falls on John Muir Trail. We come to a very small, but intense soaking stretch through a waterfall. There is no other option than to pass through ice cold waterfall with ankle deep water. A spectacular view of rear side of Half Dome, Liberty Cap, and Nevada Falls greets us after we cross the waterfall stretch. We then descend John Muir Trail to enjoy the view again.
John Muir Trail is one of the long distance hiking trails in Sierra Nevada mountain range in California. It’s southern terminus is just after Mount Whitney (tallest point in continental USA) and it’s northern terminus is at Yosemite Valley.

Is this part of the trail between where it splits off to go to Vernal and the top of Nevada?
