Seville, Spain has two of the most beautiful structures we have ever laid eyes on. So beautiful in fact, we forgot to give any information while viewing these incredible places. Our day started at Plaza de Espana. We cross its four bridges, perused the 48 Alcoves of Provinces, and took in the entire plaza from it’s balcony. After some tapas of cod, pork with whisky sauce and carrilladas, we tour the Royal Alcazar of Seville. This palace is something we will not soon forget. Every surface is decorated in tiles and carvings. A sensory overload of details around every corner.

  1. My favorite city in Spain. I used to live there in my late teens and early 20's. I still keep in touch with many friends there that are like family. I miss it. I miss life there. The people are wonderful. I wish to go back someday. If you can, try to make it down to the village of Rocio during Pentacoste. There is a festival.. actually it starts before. Many towns including Sevilla make pilgrimages to the Rocio by foot, by horse, or ox and cart. Look into it – you can also message me and I will try to connect you to people there and you can go with the locals.

  2. Hi guys!! If you like Royal Palaces , in Spain you’ve got kind of different ones, from Moorish style from Seville or Granada Alhambra, to the Christian medieval Segovia castle, or “glorious empire era “ at El Escorial, to the Aranjuez or La Granja de San Ildefonso ,Versailles style , and finally the current Royal Palace at Madrid city center.
You got a lot of stuff over here.
    Best regards fron Granada!!
