Mallorca has so much to offer. Although many people think of Mallorca as either a beach destination or a place to party (I.e. Magaluf), the reality couldn’t be more different! Yes, Mallorca offers those things. But it also has so much culture and history within it’s quaint villages and towns – and I’m on a mission to discover them!
Welcome to the town of Pollença. You’ll see that I’ve already visited the Port de Pollença, but today I travel approximately 6km inland to see the town that gave the port it’s name. It’s charming, it’s cute and you’ll want to spend more than a day here exploring all of the nooks and crannies it has to offer!
In this video, you’ll see why this town has been listed as one of the most beautiful towns and villages to visit in Spain. It has a unique charm that doesn’t feel tainted by tourism in anyway. Make sure you climb the 365 steps that lead up to the Calvari church. Yes, you read that right – 365 steps – one for each day of the year!
This town also boasts the Pont Romano, or Roman Bridge, and you can discover that with me today in this video. All in all, Pollença is a beautiful town, and is a must see whilst visiting Mallorca. After watching this video, you’ll see why!
