Day 71 of the National Parks Plus USA Road Trip. A day of seeing the groves of gigantic sequoia trees in Sequoia National Park. These trees, the largest living things on Earth, only grow on the western slopes of California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range. Nothing can prepare you for how truly enormous these things are. We see several groves of the beasts, drive our entire car through a fallen tree trunk, and of course see General Sherman, the world’s largest tree by volume. Evening is spent in a hotel in pleasant little Reedley, in the San Joaquin Valley outside the park.

  1. Jumping Jeremy sees some big trees. And can’t manage to hug one. Yeah, that was some pretty video and pretty stills. Lots of people like to drive through the trees, meaning driving through the woods, but Jeremy drove through a tree.

  2. Great video love your adventures we enjoy how you talk about the stuff and also very good photography very good have a great day be safe and enjoy

  3. Every once in awhile on this trip, I have to stop momentarily looking at the scenery and movement, and appreciate what a great still photographer you are. This is my second time on the 90-day trip, and I'm so eager to see what you do (did) next. More Japan back roads to far towns, or big cities?
