Mallorca (Majorca) is one of the jewels of the Mediterranean. Enjoying a mild climate for most of the year, it is ideal for relaxing beach holidays, outdoor sports, and gastronomic getaways.
Day trip from Palma, a perfect beach holiday destination.
– Valldemossa
The town of Valldemossa is only around 15-20 minutes’ drive from Palma de Mallorca into the Tramuntana mountains.
Valldemossa has been home to Chopin and Latin American writers like Argentina’s Jorge Luis Borges and the great Nicaraguan poet Rúben Dario.
It is a very attractive tourist destination, as it shows early Spanish culture. There are many shops and restaurants to indulge in Spanish culture.
– Cala Deià
The old village of Deia is located between Soller and Valldemossa on the north west coast of Mallorca. The beach Cala Deia lies close to Deia.
Cala Deia is a very beautiful small shingle beach, one of the few beaches on the west coast of Mallorca.
The water here is a beautiful clear turquoise and very enticing for swimming. Due to the rocky nature of the cove sides, it is also a popular spot for snorkelling.

Lovely video, I love the drone footage. I have visited Valldemossa, Deia and Cala Deia several times. Very nice places.
