Beautiful. But why do you make the grant tree sound more epic than the general Sherman? You didn’t even mention the general Sherman being the worlds largest tree but make a huge deal about the worlds second largest tree lmao
How are the sequoias doing that were planted in Michigan? They put in a very small number about 80 years ago.

Get away from the crowds a little and do the hike to Heather Lake. The trailhead is out of Lodgepole campground if I recall.

Go before they burn down. Sadly, this could happen any year since the entire Sierra is so dry from global warming and the terrible drought in California. Sigh. We must all do everything we can to slow the climate crisis! Demand the govt take measures to stop global warming!
