Barcelona is the second most populous municipality of Spain, with 1.6 million inhabitants within city limits. It is the largest city of the autonomous community of Catalonia, and the largest city on the Mediterranean.
Barcelona was founded by the Romans in the 1st century AD. In the Middle Ages Barcelona became the capital of the County of Barcelona. After joining with the Kingdom of Aragon, Barcelona became the most important city and the main economic and administrative center of the Crown.
Barcelona became the center of Catalan separatism, briefly being part of France during the 17th century. It was the center of the Second Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War, until its capture in 1939. After the Spanish transition to democracy in the 1970s, Barcelona once again became the capital of an autonomous Catalonia. The 1992 Summer Olympics were held here to international acclaim.
Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and is today an important cultural center and a major tourist destination, renowned for its iconic buildings designed by Antoni Gaudi, such as the Sagrada Familia and the Casa Mila.

Sorry, no subtitles with this one, they will be added LATER. I have too many things on my plate right now… I'm upgrading to a professional camera and that takes a lot of time, so things will slow down a bit, but on the other hand future videos will have unparalleled image quality!
This is the longer version of my Barcelona tour, covering most of the important sites, starting from Sagrada Familia through the famous houses, then walking on La Rambla, heading into the Gotic, and finishing at the Arc de Triomf. Like, share and subscribe, there will be many more videos to come!
