Hi Guys,
I am on location tonight in the Pacific Creek Valley in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. In 1983, 4 hunters were the last ones in the valley preparing for an October hunt. The next morning 2 of the hunters went into the valley to start the hunt . There they started experiencing something strange and frightening that followed them back to their camp. They decided they needed to make a decision!

Keep Hiking!

  1. Hey Chris, Yeah, I think those guys made the right decision by leaving. I had a similar experience. Around 1990. Up above Trinity Lake.. Thanks for sharing this disturbing story. Great job as usual, Remember, Watch you're back track.

  2. I love your videos, Chris. I wish I could have a new video everyday from you. It is super thrilling watching you in these beautiful places, drinking a beer and telling us a story. By the way, I always end up drinking a beer too, because of you. Thank you very much for your nice posts. 🤣😂🤣🍺🍻

  3. Oh wow he drink all those nice ipa's from the great Northwest.
But you eat a piece of stinking fish from the East Coast.
    We have really good.
    Pacific Northwest salmon.
I'm appalled but I love your stories and I'll always watch.

  4. Awesome story ! Yeah the primal fear thing is real- It’s like a gut feeling you cannot ignore ….I have a background in Psychology and you will also get that feeling around people who are psychopaths- it’s that primal part of your brain warning you that you are in danger

  5. Just love your channel we camp a lot up here in Black Mountain North Carolina beautiful Pisgah National Forest plus so many other places believe me we've had a lot of strange things happen never saw anything but without adoubt one night I know it was a big foot we were in our tent I was pregnant at the time anyway I woke up in around 2 in the morning I hear this noise and the growl was nothing we've heard before I woke up my husband and it was tramping all around are tent we just sat there quietly it just tore are tent down stomping around never tried attacking the tent just played with it finally about an hour later it was silent so we just sat until daylight got up outside you could see huge footprints but are tent was just collapse on us that's all it did that was back in 1975 and I'm telling you to this day I know if it was a bear it would of attacked us and would of done a lot worst then what happened very blessed to be here today just thought I'd tell you one of our experiences love your channel Chris 💓

  6. Chris, how did you feel being in the same area as those men? When I hear about hunters getting scared of something they can't see, I think they know their guns won't be of any use. Great storytelling 👍

  7. I'm pretty sure it was Daniel Boone that said before he died that 1 of his regrets was killing the big hairy man, he didn't say why he killed it, maybe it threatened him, but all Daniel Boone had was a single shot musket rifle, 50 caliber I believe, and maybe a musket pistol, I am way beyond sick and tired of hearing about so called men turning into cowards when encountering a sasquatch, especially when they have modern fire arms, sasquatch are not bullet proof,

  8. Base Camp Chris is the ultimate adventure narrator! 🌿📖 Taking us out into nature and reading stories right from the great outdoors, it's like a breath of fresh air for the soul. 🏞🎙 If you love both storytelling and nature, this channel is an absolute gem. Thanks for bringing us along on your outdoor journeys, Base Camp Chris!

  9. Chris you went beyond by taking us to the same spot! Hearing thr stone roll… imaginative storytelling 🎉. What a production and work to roll it out for us. Thank you, it makes my heart happy to be in the forest 💚

  10. Great video chris with regards to the leg break of the deer its been know that the bigfoot are known for this they have done it to pigs too its a form of keeping the meat fresh to return at a later date …. the salmon looked really good … keep the videos coming cheers buddy

  11. First off I love your channel and never miss a story. This is totally unrelated to what you talk about but I know primal fear, my ex husband was very abusive in our almost 20 years together and I still suffer from what I went through. Loud noise’s that I’m not expecting and someone coming up to me from behind without my knowledge scares me to the point I could jump out of my own skin. I hate being this way and I think I have a form of ptsd from the abuse I experienced.

  12. So a number of armed men on 3 different occasions went to where you are and had independent experiences and you thought you would go at night to tell their story. You have balls my friend! I am subscribed just on the strength of that. Kudos!! ……and you are frying fish? lol.

  13. I love the way you filmed this video. Like a documentary style story, bringing the location of the story and walking us through the hunters' experiences! 🌙🌠🌲🏕 KH!

  14. Watching the sun shine through the steam over my cup of coffee this morning and listening to a new story from Chris. Doesn't get much better than this…
