The most underrated beach in Asia, Perhentian Islands in Malaysia will blow you away!
I stayed at the beautiful Senja Bay on Coral Beach, which was the perfect spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun. But of course, I couldn’t resist exploring the rest of the island. I headed over to backpacker haven Long Beach, where the energy was contagious. There were so many fun activities to do, like beach volleyball and paddleboarding but of course I headed straight for the food.
One of the highlights of my trip was going on a snorkeling tour. The crystal-clear water was teeming with colorful fish and coral, and I even got to see a sea turtle up close! It was truly a magical experience. After all that swimming, I worked up quite the appetite. I headed over to the Fishermen’s Village for lunch by taking a walk through the jungle that connects all the beaches through a series of paths, and let me tell you, the seafood was so tender. I also visited the Floating Mosque, which was simply breathtaking. The architecture was stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the island.
Overall, my trip to the Perhentian Islands was unforgettable. The natural beauty and warm hospitality of the locals made it a trip I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to go back and explore even more of this amazing destination! Next time I’m heading to Redang!

Beautiful beaches. Lucious food. Great camera work! Paradise!❤
Nice view , Lovely beach ⛱️ 🏝🏞
Just loved the vibe of these places! And your red swimsuit was cute – how many suits do you like to bring when you’re heading to beach trips? Also, interested in how you secure your passports, credit cards, etc, when you’re out for the day and have a little cabin like that? Collecting all the info on Malaysia, def on my short list! ❤
Lovely little cottage on the beach !! You spend all of your time outdoor mostly, it's just perfect!
Will you advise of what Camara you are filming with? Love the recording!!!
I have been looking at the iPhone 15 pro Max…
Not the tittle “comparing” two countries tourism places. U definetly didn’t aware what hppen about Malaysia and Indonesian “love hate relationship”😅
That was an awesome video and adventure. Thanks for bringing us along.
WOW Allan gives out great info, too bad we don’t hear it directly from him! 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t wait for your next videos!
Have fun.
Do not worry, can go to other islands like redang, lang tengah, tioman. Just as stunning
Party time is at night, not afternoon ya. Of course during daytime, long beach is dead, coz everyone went snorkeling like you.
If you think perhentian kecil is expensive, the big island (besar) is more. I think it is subjective. For a westerner, it is cheap. For locals it is expensive. Another thing, you are right…go to the fishing village to stay.
We like to keep our islands at low profile. Otherwise locals cannot enjoy it.
