  1. Pronounce place names as locals pronounce them. It's America, mate. It's annoying not to. Like saying "amenities" as "a-mean-i-ties" instead of "a-men-i-ties".
But other than the total unnecessary, annoying, purposeful mispronunciation, good tips.

  2. been camping in the valley my entire life…..worst part is….the tourists…..it should be CA preference first…..busloads of -out of country tourists tend to ruin things…….

  3. most of these spots are not accessible via bus……the campgrounds are a several hour drive on top of your expedition, and the falls are only acessible by foot……glacier point can be driven to, or at least it used to be pre covid

  4. Yosemite is one of my all time favorite National parks! Did you know, according to legends of the local Ahwahneechee people, at Yosemite Falls…the base of the pool is haunted by several witches?!!! 🧙‍♀🧙🧙‍♀
