Some people say going in the afternoon avoids all the cruise ships and all of the different issues with people getting in there but I think actually going in the afternoon gets you the best ideal view of the Interior with the light what you want to make sure that you see is

The play of the stained glass windows with the sun gudi has the Nativity facade where the sun rises and he has the passion facade where the sun sets and when you’re seeing the sun in the morning on the Nativity facade you have blues and greens within those windows

That really don’t fill up the entire of the church as much as those Reds oranges yellows in the afternoon so if you get there maybe a couple hours before close you really have that sun coming down projecting into the church and really filling everything up and it’s

Spectacular when you can catch it on a really sunny day
