Sneak Peek Footage from La Sagrada De Familia in Barcelona (Designed by Antoni Gaudi). There is much more to show you but this is just a sample of what will be a much more detailed look in an upcoming full episode.

We just saw this Basilica today and the building is breathtaking and is an architectural marvel, considering it was designed with the first brick being laid in the 1880s. It has been under construction to complete (off and on) since then. Due to revenues being earned from paid tours they are now in full construction and expect to have it completed in 2026, which will be the the 100 yr anniversary of Gaudi’s death. He is revered for his works and is buried in the building.

Make sure you subscribe to the Cruising Off Duty youtube channel so that you don’t miss any of the episodes that are going to be created from this 5 week trip that will include Barcelona, Valencia, Las Palmas Canary Islands, Transatlantic Crossing on a 50′ Catamaran Sailboat and finishing off in St Lucia. There should have a lot of stunning visual footage and should make for some excellent episodes in the future.

Craig would they have let you get any drone shots from the outside. The viewpoint would be staggering. Beautiful inside too. Thanks for this New bucket list location I need to visit. Charles

Graig I believe this is the GH5? What settings have you been using for this footage? Was the camera on auto? Or?And what kind of gimbal are you using? And which lens?

I know the Sagrada wanted a more organic feel to its design but the interior columns look exactly like Rhubarb.
