Costa Pacifica Cruise Ship Vlog – Sea Day & Palma de Mallorca

Welcome to our second Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Cruise Ship Vlog.

This was our first time cruising with Costa Cruises, and we sailed on the Costa Pacifica around the Mediterranean.

Despite reading some terrible reviews for both Costa Cruises and more specifically, the Costa Pacifica, we decided to try it out for our selves to see if the reviews were justified – spoiler alert, they weren’t in our opinion.

In our first Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Vlog that we released last week, we show the adventure in getting to Civitavecchia an boarding the Costa Pacifica, and our second day was stopping off in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, where we took a train to our favourite place, Olbia, Sardinia.
We had to visit our favourite beach bar in the world, Rock & Beach at Mare e Rocce.

In our second Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Vlog – it’s our Cruise Diaries Part 2.

Our first day in this vlog is spent at sea, where we check out things to do onboard the Costa Pacifica. The next day is spent exploring the beautiful Palma de Mallorca, where amongst other places, we visited the stunning Cathedral at Palma de Mallorca, known as La Seu.

We really loved the Costa Pacifica, and we hope that these Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Cruise Ship Vlogs show you what we felt the Costa Pacifica was really like, despite any bad reviews.

⭐ About Postcard & A Pint:
Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint YouTube channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. It’s just a bit of fun, and great for our sanity. Your support is hugely appreciated x

  1. Those Cathedral steps looked terrifying 😮, I would have spun out I think. Very pleased for you Wills, meeting Johnny Rotton, far too cool, he's a wonderful man that's been through a lot 😢.
I also think it impressive Rachel that you spoke at length about hoops and never broke into fits of hysteria 😂.
    Like deployed 👍
    Or Kangadon't 🤔😊

  2. So many religious relics! We have been seeing some in Belgium and the Netherlands too.

I'm so glad you went to the roof of the beautiful cathedral! We actually did the 275 steps up to the top of Yorkminster and the view there was FAB as well!

  3. Great vlog 😊 would like to try costa cruises if we can book it as a package. Not use to doing DIY. Getting on s bit in age 🙈 would you recommend this cruise for all ages? ❤

  4. A well balanced diet should always start with breakfast donuts. I think that is why I love Italy.
A well balanced diet should always end with pizza and tiramisu. I found out something interesting this week. Tiramisu seems to have been around forever but it was probably invented in the 60s or 70s and the first ever mention was in a restaurant column in the Sydney Morning Herald in 1978. Who knew?
I'm with you, that other cruising channel must be taking the piss because you certainly aren't. I get my weekly dose of sober and serious social commentary from you two. It does get a bit dry though, so maybe Wills could liven things up a bit with quick joke at the end or something?
I haven't been to Mallorca. It looks more appealing than I thought. I guess it is Spain and Spain is one of our favourite places. It looks a bit Seville / Madrid / Barca. Nice.
I honestly thought you said the city was full of bars and genitalia. I had to rewind to make sure. Gelataria. Okay.
A well balanced diet should always include a tapas lunch and genitalia. And ice cream.
Squeeeee!! Wills met Johnny Rotten! OMG. I dunno if I've mentioned it before but I saw the Sex Pistols once. The reformed for some shows in the 90s and it was awesome.
A well balance diet should always end with Teppanyaki. There is nothing quite like having the chef throw food at you. Surprisingly enough teppanyaki in Japan doesn't often have the chef throwing food at you. I have been to teppanyaki in Sydney where they perform like this and it is a lot of fun.
Brilliant again, looking forward to the next one.
Bella ciao bella ciao bella ciao (I'm going to have that little ear worm in my head for days now)

  5. "We didn’t want the Costa cruises hat anyway”… Bet you did really! 😂 That show looks like a bit of fun!

Hahaha! Deadly serious channel, okay 😉 Thank you so much for the shout-out, guys. Very kind of you, we appreciate it a lot! 😃

We vote for Wills to be the next Pope! Just don’t lose the mitre! 😂 The cathedral is absolutely stunning 😳🤯 Well done, Wills, for catching the food! It looks incredible 🤤 That party on deck looks amazing and love the decorations!

    Great video as always guys!

  6. Hi guys. Another entertaining video. Loving the research of the food and drink. Argh Welsh legs. Now then that is a fabulous Cathedral. Awesome. Although looked massively busy. From a ship full of people to a cathedral full of people. 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️. Old town looks good. A very energetic band that. Ah Wills always gets his Bauble. I like St Miguel. 👍🏻

  7. Wow, there were so many people on that cruise ship. 😮
    That cathedral looked amazing too.
    I love a few Sangria 🍹🍹🍹
Oooh Wills, Johnny Rotten who doesn’t remember him!
I hope the chefs cooking is better than his singing 😂
    It looked gooood! yummy
It all looked very packed & good fun.

A great video full of energy, great one guys x💕

  8. We are loving this cruise ship! The food, entertainment it all looks amazing! Meeting Johnny Rotten..Sex Pistols taxi ride epic! Great video guys, Willis I cracked up at the joke. Bravo you two! ~Cara ❤
    Ps. Cathedral WOW!

  9. What amazing days for sure!! Always enjoy a sea day as it gives me a time to just sit and relax. Never a fan of kids running amok though. Costas seems to be doing itself good! Fantastic!!

  10. Well this was a great way to start our week! So much entertainment on off on Sea days shame the queues for the slides were too long! Hope you gave salsa ago at some point looks fun and a great energy burn! Palma is a stunning city and of course Wills found a Christmas shop! The shows look fantastic and my word do the Italians know how to party! Do they do adult only cruises? Then you wouldn’t get the pesky kids in the jacuzzis! Another fabulous video you awesome pair! Have a great week ahead! Catch you soon x

  11. The Palma de Mallorca cathedral is really stunning, the colours of the stain glass windows falling on the floor was magical. The entertainment on the Costa cruise certainly seemed better than examples I've seen on other people's cruise videos.
