P&O Arvia Mediterranean Cruise … Palma de Mallorca
Our second port of call on our Arvia Mediterranean cruise was Palme in Mallorca . I was up early to witness our arrival , before jumping back into bed for another hour or so .
After breakfast in the quays we disembarked the ship and joined the queue for the shuttle bus . There was plenty of buses available and we queued for about 10 minutes .
We were dropped off opposite the Cathedral , Catedral – Basilica de Santa Maria de Mallorca .
Our plan was to visit the Cathedral but unfortunately it was very busy , there are some QR CODES outside that you can scan to book tickets or around the back is an entrance where you can pay cash . Unfortunately both were very busy . Also we came across some pony and cart rides that would show you the main parts of the city , but they were asking for 100 euros for the privilege .
So by foot it was , and very walkable it was . We stopped for a coffee then ventured further into the city . It was great to go down some of the narrow cobbled streets as this gave you a bit of shade from the hot sun .
Of course we eventually ended up at a nice bar and had a cool refreshing drink and did a bit of people watching .
Before long it was time to head back to the ship , we made our way back to the shuttle bus pick up point to find a very large queue . Fear not ,the queue went down in no time and before you know it we were back on the ship .
We headed straight to the swim up bar where we enjoyed a refreshing Cocktail , then a cool down in the Infinity pool .
That evening dinner was in the Olive Grove , and very nice it was to . We then enjoyed lots of musical entertainment around the ship .

Pearl looks beautiful as ever, great fashion sense. Loving the vlogs, did you buy the drinks package? We've booked a fly cruise to the Caribbean next November, think we are going to go pay as you go drinks wise.

Glad you had a nice meal in the Olive Grove, we had a shocker the night we went, nice food but the service was very slow, was that slow we stayed for breakfast aswell 😀
Palma was nice but very busy, did do that hike in the morning which was stunning.

What a beautiful place Palma is. I'm glad you both were prepared for the heat. Pearl looked great as always. That wall of shoes reminded me of the ones she has broken on trips. I noticed some of the entertainment is good, and others not so much. Hope you all are well, we are well here. We are getting ready to go from 80s to 30s in less then 24 hours. Living in SW Ohio is always full of surprises! Still no rain. Take care, and looking forwaed to next week.

Loved this one, we love Palma, it was where we decided that we were wanted to try a cruise after seeing the Queen Mary 2 docked there 15 years ago, we didn’t go there on our cruise this time which was a shame!

I loved Pearl’s dress when you likened it to a Lilly pad, it was such lovely colours.
We didn’t enjoy the Olive Grove this time, the food was good but the service was very quick, when they took the starter plates they immediately put the mains down, all in all dinner took 35 minutes!! We cancelled our booking for the following week.
Anyway we are up to date now at last!! Brilliant and funny as always, looking forward to the next one now

Amazing opening shots of mallorca ,so beautiful relaxing and calm . ❤. Pearl was so chic and stylish in black and white reminded me of coco Chanel 😍. We went to Palma years ago ,and we couldnt get into the cathedral then lol .
Love Brian always saying more tat ! 😅 its the same in every country dont you think 🤔. Lol 😅. 100 euros for a coach ride omg thats expensive but alot of people seemed to be going on it . 😮. There was a lot of beautiful buildings in Palma, the cake shop you stopped at looked lovely . Can you believe Pearl they still have an Etam i remember back in the day going in there in the 80s 😅. And Pearl noticed you can't help yourselves when there's a statue or robot you have to have a picture , im the same. and also those toys you get at Christmas with buttons you just have to press to listen to the music or the toy dances lol . Sorry just had to say that 😅. Brian, you're terrible. Which one is the most horrible and poor Pearl getting called monster lol . As Pearl says predictable but very " funny " 😅.Back on the ship 🚢 the swim up bar was very busy ,but that pina colada looked tasty my fav 😍.
