Omg never been to the Calle de la Sanse.
People were advised to park and ride buses at Hiram Bithorn Stadium …for $5 round trip! buses were escorted by police in an exclusive lane which arrived in minutes. Glad Covid is gone😷🤔😅
Best way to enjoy Sanse is staying there overnight you can rest …come back rest come back day or night.

I left the island 20 years ago to live in the states and this festival was a homecoming for me.
My wife who is not Puerto Rican joined me and was able to see our rich culture and how inclusive and prideful us Puerto Ricans are.
We attended San Sebastián Thursday-Saturday and it was amazing!
My wife called our 1-week trip to PR a “fairytale” and is considering getting a 2nd home there.
Her only concern are the hurricanes…..😥
It was so good to be back home in PR and especially for this festival. My wife says we need to come at least once per year or more.

I was there that day it was Saturday huh🇵🇷❤️ because it rained, I was visiting for the first time & happened to be la sanse & we loved it, we were in old SJ from 9am to 9pm 20,000 steps for us lol it was so fun I loved the dancing everyone so happy! I'm mexican & we have similar fiestas in mexico so we felt at home ❤️

I have never been nor will I voluntarily go but, It does look like fun and I'm glad you covered it. The reason why I wouldn't go is simply because the parking and traffic had to be a nightmare… lmao. Let's just say I've been to Old San Juan many times and really, it's worth it. That place even smells good (really). There is so much to see and it's so nice there. But… There really isn't enough parking there and getting out of there with so many drunk people. Lol, I guess if I rented an Air BNB right in the heart of Old San Juan it would be worth it. Till then, thanks for covering it so we don't have to go to see it. 🙂
We loved walking through La Perla, it was so authentic and the colors on the houses were beautiful. It was after a few hurricane's so it was a little beat up in 2018 when I went, but definitely added to my expericence while in San Juan… 🙂

Hello…i watched some of your videos which to me were impressive …however this one looks like it`s only for as you say "Boricuas". of lighter complexions.. I also did NOT see many darker skinned people… is there any reason? since the attendance of lighter skinned people WAS CLEARLY OBVIOUS. I would not seek to attend…also you may not realize how many times
–>YOU<–appear in this video .. its more like you are documenting your visit there for yourself… here is the proof " you stated how many steps you did… based on this video I would not see any reason to attend.DO NOT get me wrong..I attended the Loiza Festival more than once and it was open to all shades of people…based on this video ..I could NEVER see buying an airline ticket .. taking a hotel room …renting a car… taking an uber walking around in circles .. drinking alcoholic drinks…( as I do NOT drink) I am not seeing the point..! Eso fue el sábado estaba bien prendió al lado de Ostracosa o como se llame está nonos en la esquina a la izquierda está la galería y tenían un dj esa calle si q estaba bien prendía y estabas al lado y no bajaste. Tu viste a King Artur y estaban las extraterrestres bailando era preámbulo a lo del domingo de Saturno que Rauw canto en vivo que era la otra calle PAL lado de nonos.
